Each year, Buc Club supporters provide opportunities for more than 300 student-athletes at Barry to win big in both competition and the classroom. The Buc Club relies on financial support from donors, and every dollar donated funds facility improvements, program enhancements, or athletic scholarships – directly impacting the lives of Barry’s athletes. 

 

Just ask Men’s Golf standout Amani D’Ambrosio ’24. The finance major and Pennsylvania native came to Barry as a walk-on. He was grateful for the opportunity to compete after he thought his dream of playing collegiate golf was no longer possible. Amani worked his way up the ranks, and last month, as a starter, helped the team defend its conference title, and secure its third-place finish in the National Championship tournament. Amani says that being part of the Men’s Golf program has helped him grow as an athlete, student, and person. 

 

“Some people, like myself, just need the right environment to shine... Barry brought that out in me and I am forever grateful.”
